Fall colors

Love this jacket but I feel like I can only wear it during the fall season so I decided to wear it today...it's fall enough in my mind! Not much going on today, just a little work meeting, a little dinner, and a little house building meeting.

Not much to say today plus rushing to the house building meeting...so I'll see you guys tomorrow!

Outfit Re-Do

I felt like I was going to the office on my day off...so now I feel like I should be on my day off...casual and comfortable. Didn't change anything that I had on before just added to it.

Steps to change from going to the office to comfy and casual

1. Rolled the pants

2. Traded in the heels for the sandals

3. Added a vest

4. Added a necklace

5. Added a belt

and DA DA DA DAAA a more causal and comfy look!

Yep I did it...

I took advantage of the last day you could wear white pants....well according to the saying. I don't really follow that saying though so I guess I should really be saying...Yep I did it...Finally wore white pants! hahaha (ps my camera was hating me today...sorry for the half blurry pictures)

Notice that black bracelet? Isn't it cute? Well would you believe me if I told you it was made from an old cowboy boot?? amazing huh! Well there is this local Utah company called Salvage West that takes old cowboy boots and makes super cute accessories! Anything from bracelets, decorative hair elastics, headbands, and wallets. After you fall in love with their product and place an order your order comes wrapped in a super cute burlap sac(depending on size of item) and attached to the item is a picture of the boot that your item was made from. I love the idea of reusing old loved stuff into new loved stuff. Great product, check it out!

This weekend was a nice relaxing one. We didn't get the boat out because of a huge thunderstorm with lightening and being the smart thinker that I am decided that electricity and water don't match. So we hangout and enjoyed each others company. Then painted the garage haha

Labor Day Weekend....I am SOO excited!

OH Boomer decided to make an entrance in these pics and say hi...or at least the backside of him.

It's not that I have anything planned or that my job gets that extra day off for the weekend but because it's another weekend and one of the last weekends of summer. Yes I said it...in my mind this is the turning point of when summer starts to come to an end(I can just see the Hubs right now as he reads this...screaming no and giving me the evil eye...he hates winter LOL. PS yes the Hubs reads my blog what a good husband!).

Why do I say it's when summer starts to come to an end? Kids start to go back to school (yes no more teenagers hanging out at my favorite locations), leaves start to change(and yes they already have started here in Utah) and FALL CLOTHES!! But lets not get too excited for those yet because todays outfit is a cute little summer outfit. Got to live it up until summer actually dies, especially since it's still 90 degrees outside.

Oh shoot I forgot to take a picture of the back of this cardi...it's really cute and all lacy like the shoulders. Sorry :(

One more thing I'm soo excited about. Danielle from Blissful and Domestic finally made the announcement. I'm going to be a monthly contributor on her amazing blog, so you better go on over there and start following. She's amazing, one of the things I'm loving over there right now is the fact that she has taught me(or i'm working on it) to only grocery shop once a month and plan all my meals out for that month. It's a huge savings and it seems to be working(that is if the Hubs sticks to the plan...love you! haha)

I know I've been gone for a bit

I've been working graves and when I work graves I don't get ready for the day...I mean would you if you woke up at 3 in the afternoon and had to be to work by 7 pm? I have tons to do today so gotta run...but I WILL see you tomorrow!
